Based on Nicolas Rossius' interpretation of Mulliboom from The Binding of Isaac.
This was made as a short personal project to keep practicing the process of making a game ready character. I went through the entire process of modelling, sculpting, retopology, UV-mapping, baking, texturing, rigging, animation, and rendering.
I chose this concept because I wanted to try texturing blood in Substnace Painter, as well as practice texturing skin. I've also been looking up to Nicolas Rossius' artworks for a long time, and felt that it would be super cool to see one of his drawings in 3D. The binding of Isaac is such a awesome game too, so that was a bonus.
During this project I learned more efficient ways to weight paint in Autodesk Maya. I also got a much better understanding of rigging and contraints as a whole.
